About the Founder

Broke to Boss was built from lived experience.

I didn’t come from means. I was the first in my family to attend college — and the first to graduate from graduate school. There was no inherited network, no playbook passed down, and no shortcuts. Everything I learned about career strategy, leadership, and business was built through persistence, execution, and a deep curiosity about how companies actually work.

Over time, I realized two things:

  1. Most professionals are never taught how organizations truly evaluate talent, performance, and leadership potential.

  2. Many startups struggle not from lack of vision — but from lack of operational structure, strategic prioritization, and disciplined execution.

I built my career by mastering operations, understanding financial drivers, leading teams at scale, and consistently delivering measurable results. That operator mindset — strategic, data-driven, people-focused, and grounded in accountability — is the foundation of Broke to Boss.

Whether I’m coaching a professional preparing for their next leap or advising a founder scaling a team, the approach is the same: clarify the outcome, define the work, assign ownership, and execute with integrity.
